Webinar – Opportunities to use recycled materials in earthworks and drainage applications

NACOE’s ongoing free webinar series helps to share our research learnings with the broader Queensland and Australian transport communities, and we have an important webinar coming up on Tuesday, September 19.

TMR Principal Engineer Peter Reynolds and ARRB/NTRO geotechnical and pavement engineer and sustainability and materials specialist Dr Javad Yaghoubi will host the session to discuss opportunities for using recycled materials for earthworks and drainage applications.

The development of road infrastructure in the past two decades means it’s a balance between the demand for natural materials and aggregates, and managing our finite resources and carbon footprint.

Opportunities to identify potential usages for waste materials in earthworks and drainage applications are critical, and in this webinar we’ll be presenting findings of some “proof of concept” research NACOE has conducted on waste materials, and some potential ways forward to use these materials in Queensland road construction.

Join Dr Javad Yaghoubi and Peter Reynolds from 11am AEST on Tuesday, September 19.

Registration is free, but essential, so please do so here https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_M2yG4TH0S82jZcEyGlGSzQ
